The anti-cancer diet: coffee as preventive factor

Cancer prevention begins with a right diet: a few meat (preferably white) not toasted, a lot of fish and fresh vegetables, flour and whole foods. All this foods, of course, have to be accompanied by extra virgin olive oil and a glass of red wine.
This would be the ideal diet to prevent cancer, but research has long investigated on various components, alone or in combination with others, may have a preventive effect. And coffee is among these.
The role of coffee in preventing the degeneration of the liver affected by hepatitis or cirrhosis was confirmed in a study published in Hepatology and conducted on 800 patients: those who drink three cups of coffee a day had a risk reduction of 53% than those who do not drink.
Another study, published in the International Journal of Cancer, showed that four cups a day are associated with a halving of the risk of uterine cancer. While a study presented at the meeting of the American Association of Cancer Research indicates that the same dose is associated with a decreased risk of prostate cancer by 60%.
