Coffee and health: good heart pace in drinking coffee

Who drinks coffee has surprisingly less heart rhythm disorders. In particular, it was demonstrated that consuming four cups of coffee per day reduces hospitalization due to arrhythmias by 18%. While drinking one to three cups a day would ensure a reduction of arrhythmias close to 7%.
The results come from a medical study made by the
Kaiser Permanente Medical Care Program (Oakland, California) over 130 000 men and women (aged from 18 to 90 years), and presented at the fiftieth annual conference of the
American Heart Association.
Dr. Arthur Klatsky, senior author of the medical study, however, says that drinking coffee is linked to lower risk of hospitalization for rhythm problems, but this does not mean that people should drink coffee to prevent arrhythmias. The study argues, rather, that people who are at risk for rhythm problems, or who have heart rhythm problems, need not refrain from drinking coffee.
