Coind is one of the leading Italian producers of Nespresso® compatible capsules for the private label segment, with a complete offer that accompanies the customer from the development of the blend to the realization of the finished product. Aluminum, Plastic and Compostable capsules: three solutions for every need

All of our capsules are produced in automated lines, filled in controlled atmosphere, and hermetically sealed to ensure maximum preservation of coffee properties. The availability of a wide assortment of colors and materials allows each brand to stand out and build a strong brand recognition.

We offer three types of Nespresso® compatible capsules.

Aluminum capsules

Aluminum is the ideal choice for those seeking high performance and a distinctive image. Thanks to its excellent barrier properties, it protects coffee from oxygen and moisture, preserving its aroma and freshness over time. The capsule's contemporary design and material quality help reinforce a high-end positioning, with a consistent in-cup experience.

The choice of materials, sourcing strategies and resources for product development and industrialization is based on a clear awareness of environmental impact. This approach guides the selection of suppliers and enables the company to respond to the growing needs of customers and consumers, who are increasingly aware of sustainability issues.

Inspired by nature, Coind aims to optimize the use of resources, favoring renewable and recycled materials. With this in mind, the company offers an aluminum capsule made from recycled source material.

Plastic capsules

Reliable and functional, plastic capsules ensure effective protection of the blend maintaining its organoleptic characteristics over time.

The capsule structure is designed to ensure smooth water flow and balanced extraction, offering a practical solution without sacrificing the quality of the end result.

In a Design for Recycling (D4R) perspective, Coind uses packaging designed to be easily collected, sorted and recycled at the end of its life, without compromising the quality of the recovered material.

In this context, Coind proposes a plastic capsule with a peelable top, which allows the capsule to be separated from the contents and ensure optimal separate collection.

Compostable capsules

Designed for a more responsible approach to consumption, these capsules are made of 100% compostable natural-origin biopolymer, feature In-Mold labeling, and cellulosic-based bottoms.

The combination of materials used ensures complete protection of the coffee from oxygen, allowing optimal extraction and excellent in-cup result, while respecting the environment.

Custom blends

Coind offers a wide selection of recipes: from traditionally more harmonious 100% Arabica coffees to blends with a high percentage of robusta with a thicker, stronger flavor. Also single-origin blends, coffees with organic, Rainforest and Fairtrade certifications, and decaffeinated coffees. If the customer needs a specific profile, we develop exclusive custom blends from samples or flavor indications provided.

We select coffees from 20 countries of origin.

In the countries of origin, Coind experts carefully select the best raw beans of the traditionally more harmonious Arabica and Robusta varieties, commonly with a thicker and stronger flavor, as early as the time of harvest.

Packaging formats

Nespresso® compatible capsules can be packaged in different consumer formats, ideal for retail, modern trade and Ho.Re.Ca. Each package is designed to enhance the brand's design and adapt to the customer's logistical needs.

  • special HYDRO coatings
  • premium options such as embossing, hot foil and printed text inside the box
  • "shelf-ready" carton to simplify the display in the point of sale

We also offer a design check and color proof service to ensure the optimum result at the printing stage.
