Drinking coffee, like other beverages, we run the risk that by distraction we may drop it staining our clothes or furnishings ... so what to do? In this case, to remove traces of coffee from clothes and cups we are helped by grandma's mythical remedies.

White fabrics of silk or wool, man-made fibers (viscose) or synthetics:
on freshly made stains dab immediately with mineral water: afterwards, wet lightly with cold water before washing in warm soapy water.
If the stain is old, on the other hand, proceed with the usual washing after dabbing the stain with a few drops of glycerin.

On velvet:
dab with mineral water as much as before and then, without laying the fabric down, treat it from the reverse side with the steam iron to lift it.

Oncarpets:
discolor the stain with glycerin, then rub gently with warm water and a few drops of ammonia.

On mugs:
let the mugs soak overnight in a basin with 1/2 cup of bleach in 2 liters of water.
