We all know that in times of recession one has to "tighten one's belt" and make sacrifices, especially if one's job position does not allow one to maintain a stable and secure income.

Italians in recent months, after drawing on their savings to maintain a (nearly) unchanged level of consumption, are now moving to the stage of renunciations. If last summer the cuts were not on actual vacations but on destinations (where the cheapest and last minute ones had the greatest preferences), now the phase of actual cuts has begun.

Thus, for those who do not give up the bar, restrictions have been triggered: coffee is not said no, but brioche is...these are hard times, where even a croissant weighs, far more than its specific weight, on the budget of many families.
