- 67% of consumers who have breakfast at the bar are loyal to their place for the taste of coffee offered
- 7 billion is the number of cups consumed each year by Italians which is equal to 46 million kilograms of raw material
- In Italy there are 140.000 coffee bars in which 322,000 people work
- On average, a cup of espresso coffee costs 0.84 euros but in the northern regions it costs more than 90 cents and in the south it drops to 70
- In the last ten years the price of a cup has increased by 25 percent against an average inflation of 24 percent.
